TRIP LEADERS

TVRC trip leaders are highly skilled and experienced in both back country travel and leading groups in the backcountry. Like our cabin counselors, many are returning staff and former campers. All our trip leaders are required to be certified at a minimum as a Wilderness First Responder. Many have completed similar programs as student instructors with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), their specific college/university or Outward Bound. The minimum age for a trip leader is 21.
