Mid-Season Visits

We welcome parents who are local or who are staying in the area to attend our mid-season Rodeos. Our weekly rodeos occur on the same day each week and fall on the same day of the week as Arrival Day. We kindly request that you RSVP prior to attending so we know who to expect. To RSVP, please call the office and speak with Zoe, and fill out the form below. While Rodeos usually begin in the afternoon, we sometimes shift to the morning if rain is in the forecast. Letting us know you are planning to attend allows us to directly communicate schedule changes. This is also important in case your camper is away on a trip.

When you arrive at the Ranch for a Rodeo, please drive past the barn and dining hall, to the Camp office. There, you will be welcomed by a member of our TVRC team who will check you in and provide a visitor badge. Security at the Ranch is a high priority, so these badges will signal to our staff that you are an approved guest.

We also invite you to stay and enjoy a Rodeo Dinner! Rodeo dinner consists of hamburgers and hotdogs served in a buffet line. If you are planning to stay for dinner, please let Zoe know when you RSVP with the number in your party. This way we can give an accurate count to our Kitchen Team and ensure there is plenty of food for all our guests and camp community. We will welcome all guests to sit with the Leadership Team at the Guest Table in the Dining Hall. Your camper will also be welcome to join!

Please note that there are areas at the Ranch that are off limits to visitors including in and around camper cabins and bathhouses. This is to protect the privacy of our staff members, and the other campers in that cabin. While we love having our families visit, campers who are struggling with homesickness may have a more difficult time seeing parents walking around the Ranch. Please be sensitive to this while you are visiting. If you are concerned your visit may create an increase in your camper’s homesickness, please reach out to our team and we can discuss it together.

As a note of reminder, please do not bring dogs to the Ranch. Dogs add a layer of complexity and challenge that is difficult to control. Even the most mellow of dogs has the potential of running away, biting someone or spooking a horse- leading to greater injury. We appreciate your compliance with this policy.
