Special Days, Events, and Ceremonies

No two days at TVRC are the same! A few days out of the summer we have special events planned on the Ranch. Every season we have our very own TVRC Olympics and a River Day. During Boys’ Season we celebrate the 4th of July with all-camp games, and Girls’ Season campers learn to Square Dance during our annual Square Dance. There are also special activity days when a kitchen staff member might teach campers how to make biscuits or a counselor might teach campers how to Irish Step Dance. The possibilities are endless here at TVRC, so come check them out for yourself!

Ceremonies

Ceremonies week is a chance for each Adventure Group to have a capstone experience to celebrate and test everything they have learned throughout the summer. Each day different groups will be in ceremony working hard to showcase their work from the summer and as each group completes their challenge, the rest of camp cheers them on in true TVRC fashion.
